Well, I can only agree with that. I also like Lucid much better
than the FSF version 19.13 (Sorry, if anybody should feel hurt by
this ...). EG: I don't like the menus to cover large parts of the
menubar when I click at one, I miss the highlighting, the
fontify-lock-mode, the '-iconic' option when starting emacs, and a
few things more.
The mouse-support with Lemacs is just a genius' work, especially
the pop-up-menus! I have tried to do something similar with FSF
Emacs 19.1x, but I finally gave it up ...
I also thing that (optional ?) scroll bars wouldn't be such a bad
idea for the next version of 'Lemacs'. (To be honest: that is about
the only thing I like about the FSF Emacs 19.1x ...)
Anyway: Both Lucid and FSF deserve a great 'thank you!', because
emacs -in whichever version- is by far the best editor I know. It
just makes life so much esier! :)
