I just want to say to keep up the good work. I've just tried emacs 19.12,
and I must say that lemacs 19.6 is quite superior!
Especially the menubars. I am hopefull that 19.7 will have scroll bars.
I also like the way the middle mouse button is used in completions, etc.
Thanks to Jamie et. al.

I'll second (and third) the kudos. Since I brought up Lucid emacs, I
haven't even bothered to bring up GNU 19.<todays release>, and the 18.xx
version that I left lying around gets used when I dial in [no PPP/X yet :-( ]

Congrats, keep up the good work, and "Thanks!",

Steve

Well, I can only agree with that. I also like Lucid much better
than the FSF version 19.13 (Sorry, if anybody should feel hurt by
this ...). EG: I don't like the menus to cover large parts of the
menubar when I click at one, I miss the highlighting, the
fontify-lock-mode, the '-iconic' option when starting emacs, and a
few things more.

The mouse-support with Lemacs is just a genius' work, especially
the pop-up-menus! I have tried to do something similar with FSF
Emacs 19.1x, but I finally gave it up ...

I also thing that (optional ?) scroll bars wouldn't be such a bad
idea for the next version of 'Lemacs'. (To be honest: that is about
the only thing I like about the FSF Emacs 19.1x ...)

Anyway: Both Lucid and FSF deserve a great 'thank you!', because
emacs -in whichever version- is by far the best editor I know. It
just makes life so much esier! :)
