I think what he means is that he never did it before and was too naive
to cover his tracks, so he got complaints to his ISP and had to
apologize. With luck, that's the last we'll see of his ads. As with
many amateur SPAMmers, he didn't find out about his audience before he
stated advertising at it. Most of these seem to be so dumb they'd not
be able to make a success of any business.
