Help with York & Co vault door please

I'm working on a York vault door (3-4 ft. round and deep) and have
found the connection to the coordinator (the arm that rotates the door
into place while opening and closing) to be a little sloppy, causing
the inside of the door to hit the sides of the opening. The connection
of the arm to the square drive is good but you can move the door left
and right while it's not swinging. Any help is appreciated.

Not quite the sort of response I was hoping for...more like...those
are connected by X...check Y for alignment...tightness...etc. Do you
know what I'm even talking about?

My problem is that I can't figure how the shaft is connected to the
door...and I figure that the door probably weighs at least a ton, so
working it (skew) left and right while trying to see where the
connection is made is very difficult when working alone...(and having
a taller ladder would certainly help). Removing the top escutchion
and coordinator arm reveals two holes (about 3/8" if I recall) with
what appear to be solid pins not too deep inside...is this the
connection?
