On the threshold of a new dawn
As night falls we find ourselves standing
On the threshold of a new dawn
When dawn breaks we will be greeted by new horizons
New horizons, horizons of limitless dimensions
We will have learnt from the past and allow it to fade into history
In this new era our eyes will be focused on the future
A future we will meet with confidence and vigor
Our moment is now and we are up to any challenge
As night falls we find ourselves
Standing on the threshold of a new dawn
When dawn breaks a new era we will welcome
Unified by one purpose we take a quantum leap forward
We are perched on the verge of spectacular breakthroughs
In science, in medicine, in transportation, in education
And a myriad of other disciplines using our imagination
Our potential possesses no contemplative comparisons
If the sky happens to be our limit our aim is to surpass it
Together we boldly try the untried as we venture into the unknown
At the break of dawn our world we will begin to transform
Tonight we are standing on the threshold of an exciting new dawn.
