Can anyone tell me the terminal command to mount a remote network
volume? or any other easy way that there might be? TIA!

Noone can, because noone knows what you are talking about. Are you using
Samba? NFS? ECSS (ElCheapoSoftwareSystem)?

You're probably using samba and then the command smbmount might help you.

I use ncpmount. From your term prompt type man ncpmount to get the specifics for
your server. In it's simplest form it would be as follows:

ncpmount -S server_name -U user_name /mnt/netware

You'd be prompted for your password, which can also be included in the above
term line -P password

actually I was talking about mounting a remote nfs drive.
