Isn't it stupid how leftists always seem to need books and schooling to know
everything, while we don't?
It proves that we are superior! Rush never went to school, and he earns
more than guys at NASA.
Time to round up the scientists and shoot them. Lord Monckton says so.
Toronto hit a new low overnight, with the temperature dipping to -19 Celsius.
With the wind chill factor, the temperature outside felt closer to about -25 C
early Saturday.
After a few weeks of relatively mild weather, the city has been under a cold
weather alert since Thursday.
The alert allows city staff to increase the number of emergency shelter beds
for homeless people. The alert also results in more outreach workers hitting
the streets to warn people of the temperature drop.
The alert generally comes into effect when Environment Canada forecasts
temperatures of -15 C and lower, not including the wind chill.
North of the city, temperatures were even colder, however. In the Muskoka
region, the barometer dipped to -28 C, not including the wind chill.
Toronto should emerge from the deep freeze gradually over the next few days,
with Environment Canada predicting a high of -3 C on Sunday. Monday's forecast
high is -4 C.
The normal highs and lows for this time of year are -2 C and -9 C
respectively.
