Computers, Colecting furry stuff, Reading sci-fi books, programmimg,
beta testing

I am SAP Basis Desktop support. Translation, I trouble shoot computer
running
SAP and fix them. I wish I programmed more. :/
8. How would you describe your personality?
Normally, very introverted. I am the one that stands behind everyone
in a group and watches what is going on, not saying much, and if I am
spotted (ie someone says hi to me) I try to hide. I guess a better way to
describe it would be that I am a RL lurker. Now on the other paw when I am
in a large group of furs, I am very extroverted. Go fig.
9. Do you believe in ESP? Do you consider yourself to be psychic?
ESP? Yes, I would believe that there is something beyond the five
sences and that everyone has them to some extent or another. Just some
people are better at notice this extra sence then others. So do I consider
my self to be psychic in the terms that I have some special 'power' no. Do
I belive that I (and everyone else) has another sence that science has not
been able to totally figure out, yes. Otherwise how would you explain
someone's 'gut feeling'
10. Are you a meat eater?
Yep! I just wish my human body would be able to handle the amount of
meat I want to eat. *sigh*

I can't say I have favorite. I like just about all of them. Right now
my favorite that I have right now is the cat girl on Outlaw Star.
12. What type of furry artwork do you enjoy viewing?
[erotic/romantic/pin-up, manga, goth, cyber/sci-fi, violent, action,
cutesy/toony, photomorphs/realistic, mythological, humorous etc]
Well, My tasts run all over the spectrum. I have collcted just about
every type of picture. The one's that I mostly like are realistic, romantic
or action. I avoid the violent, bloody, and snuff work at all costs.
13. What type of furry literature do you enjoy reading?

transformation/shapeshifting etc]
If it is furry I try to read it. Again, I avoid the violent, bloody and
snuff work.

Not much at the moment. I have a drawing pad that I am not likely to
show anyone, tho my wife thinks that it is not bad. Just needs a little
more finishing work. I also have a web site that badly needs updated at
http://www.redfox.org. Oh, I also helped create http://furry.ao.net tho due
to RL I have not worked on it in years and the site has been redone from the
orginal CGI scripts that I wrote.
15. What types of animal/furry themed decorations adorn your living space?

*looks around his den, Well I have a print done by Lynx Wong a few wolf
and fox framed posters, one Carspecken (http://www.ozfoxes.com) orginal and
a few prints.
16. Describe your ideal plushie.
*smirks* Does a real life fox count as a plush? No? Darn. Well then
it would be a plush that is as close to a real life fox as I can get and no,
I don't want a stuffed fox. :(
Costumes and collars

17. Do you enjoy wearing fursuits and/or furry accessories?

I have a few tails, and a set of RL fox ears that a shaman made for me.
I want to make a fursuit some day. I have a collar but I don't like wearing
it, I am not a domesticated fox. *erks as his wife grabs him by the scruff
and snaps the collar around his neck* Ok, I guess I have been domesticated
and I must wear the collar. *ick*
18. Do you feel 'furrier' when wearing a fursuit/collar/tail etc?
Yep!
19. Describe your favourite/ideal 'furry' appearance.
[e.g. wearing animal-themed clothes, fursuit, tail, collars...]
My favorite would be if I was morphed into a anthormorphic red fox.
*sigh* Since that is not going to happen, I will have to live with my ideal
appearance would be a full fursuit. In the mundane world however, I just
wear animal-themed clothes when I can.
Furriness

20. What are your phenotype(s)?
Red fox
21. How/when did you discover the identity/species of your phenotype?
Well, I guess it would be back in 1994 when I first found furrymuck. I
needed to pick a species. While I dislike not being different from everyone
else, choosing the fox just felt right. Overtime, I noticed the foxy
furrness in myself and began to accpet that is what I might be.
22. What conditions help you to enjoy/express your furriness?
Living. Everything that I do I try to express my furriness (except at
work) because it feels more right for me then how I act at work.
23. How and when was your furriness first evident?
*Simtra's blush of his cheeks can be seen from though his fur* Well if
I have to answer this one it would be back in the early 90's. I and my
brother would pretend that we where Chip and Dale (I was Chip) We would go
out and collect nuts (acorns taste very bitter) chitter back and forth to
each other and try to solve crimes. I even wrote in a high school paper
how, I wanted to be a chipmunk.
24. How much of your furriness is 'instinct' vs 'learnt'?
*hmms* I sometimes wonder about this. At the start of finding my
furriness I think it was mostly learnt. Plus at the time, I just collected
artwork and mucked. I could not do much more then that since my parents
thought that furryness was wrong and that I should give it up. At that time
of my life I would stay it was almost completely learnt.
Now, that I am out on my own and I have time to let it take me over, I
have a kind of split personally. This started at a fur con and I was living
on pure suger and caffien. When I was out with my wife to be and a few
others, I had a suger crash. I have found that I am border line
hyperglycemic and having that much suger is a bad thing.
Anyway on that day, something happend. I went into what I now call 'fox
mode'. My personally would become very fox like. I would sniff at just
about everything first. Chitter at people, and I would want to get away
from people I don't trust. My mind in that mode was very simple. From that
point on, I felt that I had split personallies. One side of me is
'programmer Steve'. In this mode I am all bussiness and I am not much fun
to be around. Another side of me is 'fox mode' which I have talked about
already. When I am in 'fox mode' I am either a sleep or I have suger
crashed from eating too much suger, and I don't rememeber anything that I
did in this state. My last personaly is a blend of 'programmer Steve' and
'fox mode'. This is 'Simmie mode'. When I am like this I happy yerf at
people, smile, and be happy. This has become my normal personally.
So in any cause to answer the question for me now, I belive that it is
50/50. Part of it was learnt which got me to where I am, and the other
half, just came out of the blue.
*hopes this makes a little sence* I really am not very good a saying what I
want to.
25. How does your furriness influence your thoughts and emotions?
Yep. See the question above.
26. Has your furriness improved the quality of your life?
I think so, but at times the furry side can be a pain. (Marking
territory for example)

I am a fox. That is what caused my furriness
Acting furry

See question 24. Mostly subconciously, the marking territory, yerfing
and yelps in surprise and walking digitigrade.
29. Do you act furry in public?
Sometimes. Mostly when I am in fox mode.
30. How does your furriness influence the way you interact with people?
I don't know. I try to judge people when I meet them and understand
that they are just animals too who don't think they are.
31. How much control do you have over your furriness?;

That I am furry or a real life fox.
Religion/Spirituality

35. Is your furriness compatible with your religion?
It did not used to be, I was until a few years ago, Roman Catholic. For
me (and for by how my folks taught me) God hated people that thought they
were animals. I did not know. In anycase, when I found out more about
paganism and started learning it, it felt more 'right' then what I had in
the past. So right now, I am learning more and more about pagnism and where
I might fit there.
36. Has your furriness led you to reconsider your religious beliefs?
Yep. I left the Catholic year a little under a year ago.
37. Have you ever communicated with an animal spirit?
[animal guardian, the spirit of a living animal, the spirit of a
deceased pet etc]
Not yet, but I have had a red fox stare at me in my back yard for a few
minuites. It also left my some of it fur for me to collect.
38. Do you believe that you were an animal in a former life?
I think so more and more.

Yep.

I like most animals. I just have a problem with spiders. The scare the
heck out of me.

Yes. That is what we are here for. To eat one another and make more of
ourselfs. (Yes I put humans into the ones that get eaten)

Hard question. If you are using the rest of the animal, yes. It it is
just for the fur and leather, no.

Yes and No. If your planning to eat the animal yes otherwise no it is

My mate carefully mentioned nothing of the wolfish nature that
occasionally takes over; it started out as an online character quirk
(the character was deathly afraid of wolves to the point of blind
attack or petrification in his own fear) but you know the old saying
about a grain of truth. Simtra has a wolfish nature at times but is
afraid of it, refuses to make contact with it and acknowledge it.
We're working on that ---I think it's because, for him, the wolf means
a total loss of control and an assertion of his stronger personality
traits that the gentle side of him just can't handle.

Same here. Programming is awesome, but I hardly ever do it, thanks to laziness
and school.

That's just awesome, man. I think that's the same way I'm ending up, with there
being boring human me and pretty cool dog me. Too bad I'm in human mode now.
