Thanks, skytech.
1st_ About VN, well, beautiful country, have a lot of nice landscapes,
but the life of the people here are really hard. Government is like @
%#&! But I will not discuss about that much. About my home, nothing
special. I don't want to share my furry to any non-furry anyway, so I
didn't tell my parents about that yet. And about furries in VN, I only
know about 3 people (including me), furry is not popular in my country
(because 70% of our population don't know another language,
seriously).
2nd_ What is stone soup?
3rd_ My fox-dragon (actually she is vixen-dragon) is 3 meters tall.
Blue hair (fur), stand on 2 feets, very cute, vixen's head and tail,
the rest is dragon traits. She's also smart and kindness. She's always
help me in some complicated "feeling" situation, and always protect me
from all mental threat. I love blue, and blue is a symbol of water,
and knowledge too.
4th_ Well, sometimes, when I feel sad or confuse about sth, my vixen
come to me and show me the way to run out from that situation easily.
And when I made a wrong decision, or sth try to put bad thing into my
head, my dragon blow it away with a strong, icy breath. When they
merge together, they give me knowledges, confidence, make my life
brighter and safer. I won't making any mistake since I find out my
furry.

P/s: Maybe you will ask me this: "Why vixen, not fox?". Well, furvey
v3.5, question 54) Has your gender preference changed since
discovering the furry community? My answer is yes, and I wish to be
female for 3 years. I can't handle all man stuff, I really want some
peace. I find no peace when being a man. For a thousand years, when
wars happen, who will go to fight: man, and what did women do:
support. But seriously, I love to support another people more than be
a killing machine.
P/s 2: I know you will want to ask me more about my furvey. I will
answer all of them.
P/s 3: My english is bad, sorry.

Don't worry. The only reason anyone in the US speaks another language is because
they crossed the border illegally.

> 2nd_ What is stone soup?

I'm copying this for ease right now but this is from
http://www.dltk-teach.com/fables/stonesoup/mtale.htm

A kindly, old stranger was walking through the land when he came upon a
village. As he entered, the villagers moved towards their homes locking doors
and windows.
The stranger smiled and asked, why are you all so frightened. I am a
simple traveler, looking for a soft place to stay for the night and a warm place
for a meal.

"There's not a bite to eat in the whole province," he was told. "We are
weak and our children are starving. Better keep moving on."

"Oh, I have everything I need," he said. "In fact, I was thinking of
making some stone soup to share with all of you." He pulled an iron cauldron
from his cloak, filled it with water, and began to build a fire under it.

Then, with great ceremony, he drew an ordinary-looking stone from a silken
bag and dropped it into the water.

By now, hearing the rumor of food, most of the villagers had come out of
their homes or watched from their windows. As the stranger sniffed the "broth"
and licked his lips in anticipation, hunger began to overcome their fear.

"Ahh," the stranger said to himself rather loudly, "I do like a tasty
stone soup. Of course, stone soup with cabbage -- that's hard to beat."

Soon a villager approached hesitantly, holding a small cabbage he'd
retrieved from its hiding place, and added it to the pot.

"Wonderful!!" cried the stranger. "You know, I once had stone soup with
cabbage and a bit of salt beef as well, and it was fit for a king."

The village butcher managed to find some salt beef . . . and so it went,
through potatoes, onions, carrots, mushrooms, and so on, until there was indeed
a delicious meal for everyone in the village to share.

The villager elder offered the stranger a great deal of money for the
magic stone, but he refused to sell it and traveled on the next day.

As he left, the stranger came upon a group of village children standing
near the road. He gave the silken bag containing the stone to the youngest
child, whispering to a group, It was not the stone, but the villagers that had
performed the magic."

I use my form of this story as a way to offer, in the Homestead way, the gift of
food to newcomers. It's taken as anything the guest wishes it to be.

A well done totem.

I am also a man and I can say I've never needed to be a killing machine in all
may life. Then again, there are a lot of women in prison for cruel and malicious
maulings and murder. The stereotypes are a'changing.

> P/s 3: My english is bad, sorry.

Read the internet. You're actually *much* better than native writers. Be proud.

I do have an MSN account but it's been so long I have no clue how to access my
ID #. Is it that personal it can't be discussed here? I'm very open with
discussions and there are others here who would love to add any sage advise to
your queries and concerns. That was one of the selling points that made ALF so
popular many moons ago.

One of the original concepts for alt.lifestyle.furry was, and is, the internal
aspect of one's nature as a fur; heartfelt concerns, unanswered or misunderstood
insights and just all those topics concerning yourself and other people and that
fuury way of life we, coincidentally, share.

Realize too that asking those questions or discussing such in an open forum can
be very liberating. Builds character, builds confidence, builds community.

Damn, I'm the Homestead guidence counselor again! ;) I'm doing the same thing
with all the new actors at the Faire! When did I become the director/councelor
type?!.... Ooo, yeah.
