The smart people...(so that takes out my family) have steel roofs...we
converted to asphalt shingle a few years back.
With any luck our roof wont cave in.

why would you go from steel to asphalt???
is not steel the better roofing material?
Hehe, for me it was like winter never came. The lowest temp I've seen
here was still in the 70's and just the other day we hit 120 again.
It will be so good to get back to a place that has real seasons.

First thing you'll do after that climate is put on sweaters and have hot coffee
in the summer and complain it's cold! ;)
Wait, that's the people I see in the office cubicles.

That would be an interesting sight!
When it gets chilly outside, but no below zero(F), my house is usually under 60
degrees. I only turn on the heat when I have the very rare visitor. I have thick
'woolies' on my backpaws for their softness and if they feel chilly (diabetes).
If I feel overall chilly because it gets any colder than that then I wrap my
blanket around me. Fun using the computer looking out the hole in the front and
the blanket covering the keynoard as I type. Make me realize why people wore
nightshirts and nightcaps in days of yore.
Funny you mention temps and such...it's been unseasonabl warm where I
live and the plants have started budding, the spring weeds in my yard
have been shooting up. but there's a cold blast coming this week and
it's gonna kill off all of the new growth. Makes me wonder what the
plants'll do this spring.
chilli
Same as we do every year Pinky, survive.
The weak ones die off and the strong live on. I've seen
very warm winters and plants like tulips and dafodils
growing a few inches then comes the bitter cold and
snow near the end. They stop growing and continue when
it gets warm again. Nature does it best.
I'm as nuts as the plants. I've slept out on my back porch
in the winter months if the overnight temp is just under
40 degrees(F). Yes I like the outdoors that much! Oh, a
big comforter is the answer.

I know we've met and all but you're nuts XD Yep, sticking to that one.

Good day to stay in listening to the Cardboards and waiting for foobah
to start. Spring officially starts for Clevelanders when the Indians
start cactus league in March. Personally Daytona officially starts it
for me and ends my love with car racing. One race. Is hockey on?
