Hiya, I'm Soulfire the Wolf. I'm a 19 year old toon wolf who likes to explore
different online networks. I decided to come here to check out this fabled
archive of classic furry culture. And even if it seems to be pretty dead
(among the rest of usenet as a general discussion board), it's still pretty
cool to get a glimpse of the past.

scarcity and the obscurity of text groups compared to their binary
counterparts, I can assure you the worst part is over.
If you haven't already, take a moment to pass by alt.fan.furry: It seems to
be one of the more active furry-oriented newsgroups. Usenet in general
seems most active in obscure tech communities like Gemini, though.
Just for curiosity: What NNTP server are you posting from?
