barefooting in israel

Happy to report
that all thru the Holy Land holy sites
as well as at other tourist attractions there,
there were no problems being barefoot.

Temperatures were up into the 90s F.
A display showed 36 centigrade at the Dead Sea.
Might have been a bit higher at Masada.

Awesome trip!

Media reports
and State Department advisories
tend to skew the reality of what we encountered.

Life goes on there as it does in most places.
People simply going about their business.

Tourism is a big industry there.
Your cousins would appreciate a visit.
