Well done that man, please pass on my/our thanks if he isn't
lurking.
People say that you can have too much of a good thing. But since
these aren't all that good there shouldn't be a problem. I've
been spare brain run time at work to some use and have got the
following:
1 In The Stead Of Mr. Swarzenegger (sp)
2 Large Benjamin Rave Drug
3 Patel's
4 Cha Sunken Galleons
5 Contaceptive Loaths Mr. Coleman
6 Jeez...That Bloody Sun God
7 Down Trodden Lupus
8 Child's Arthritic Digits
9 Quicken Method
10 Cable Free Bonce
11 Thankfully Deceased
12 The First Town
13 Terminate Conflagrate With Lofty Streets
14 Pentonville Fandango
15 For Certain
16 Silver Black Gold Lock
17 Mash
18 Atmosphere Maker
19 Heroic Bum
20 E
21 Rip Plummet Bangs
22 Le White Pelt Problem
23 False Repeat
24 Not 'Arf
25 Don't Stay Doesn't Stay
26 Too Much
27 One Laugh
28 Inactive Pill
29 Car Lifter's Offspring
30 Mr. Morticia
31 Hoover Sherrin
32 Murk Xmas Barking Terpsichorean Loop
13 might be too obscure and 32 relies on my remembering
their name correctly. The rest just require the ability
to work out how my mind works. ;)
Beware of the pun.

12 The First Town
(Orwellian?) Don't think numerically.
13 Terminate Conflagrate With Lofty Streets
How about Murder Ignite With Hello Ridden. Ian Dury's early
incarnation.
14 Pentonville Fandango
Not mine really and on consideration not at all obvious if you
missed the episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Prison (war time)
and a dance style.
15 For Certain
Without uncertainty. They cite Madness and the Jam as influences
which is rather unusual for an American band.
16 Silver Black Gold Lock
Add the same word to each.
17 Mash
Pulverise.
23 False Repeat
Did Funky Town.
24 Not 'Arf
Probably impossible this one, Not Half - but complete.
Think doughnuts/polos.
25 Don't Stay Doesn't Stay
Belinda Carlise, Jane Weedlin, etc.
26 Too Much
With N X lead singer.
31 Hoover Sherrin
A construction named after that president I assume, and a
mincing fellow often heard on Loose Ends.
32 Murk Xmas Barking Terpsichorean Loop
I'm still not sure about this one, cheesy one or two hit wonders

I think the Loose Ends hint is probably wrong, as he's on the music

: Hole (a clue too far, methinks)
I'm feeling guilty for having made too many of them too hard/bad,
so I thought I'd make sure the second time around.
So how many do you think you might have got without the extra
clues?

With erroneous clue as mentioned else where.

: Goombay (Gave that one away too)
I had moments of misgivings about my recollection of their name
so thought I'd err on the safe side. I thought Gloom - No "L"
was rather good though I'm sure it's not original.
Thinking of music and you (is that Sal Solo in the background?)
I'll have to return your CDs, which haven't had as much of an airing
as I keep meaning to give them but I've found them initially
interesting and enjoyable.

I am safe. The Wall, Pink Floyd. No remotely self respecting venue has
this.

I posted a few articles over the weekend of the 9th/10th/11th Oct which
seem to have vanished.
I`ve decided to inflict them on you all anyway, cos that`s the sort of
guy I am...

Not many. I think I managed only one from the initial clues. My brain
either thinks "too cryptic, to the point of wilful obscurity" or "not
cryptic enough, to the point of duuuuuuuhh?"

As you said you weren't very familiar with his stuff, I was intending to
compile you a couple of Frank Zappa sampler CDs. Unfortunately my CD
writer has started acting all temperamental(*) so this'll have to wait a
while till I get things sorted out.
(*) Actually, my whole (PC)system's been flaky for the last couple of
weeks ever since I fscked up installing Linux on a spare drive and had
to
resort to desperate measures just to get the damn thing to boot W95.

the cold Hublandish regions. Its skin is rare and highly valued,

by the vermine itself; the selfish little bastard will do anything

It is good for your soul. Do I redeem myself any by telling the story
of how it met its demise?

government, is to live under the government of worse men.
Well, I think you`ll have to now that you`ve mentioned it...
