Car needs a water pump and ball joint. Now these
two items need to absolutely be repaired like NOW.
The water pump has been going but it's leaking
worse and worse and worse. The balljoint is loser
then a mofo. However i got an estimate it is
like 600-700 dollars. Not worth getting it fixed.
My friend could technically do it but the water
pump is a pretty labor intensive job. The
frigging water pump is a cheap part, and the ball
joint is a bit more expensive but it's the labor
that kills you.

Besides that the wheel berrin is going on it.
Hear the rumble sound it makes when it goes.
Getting pretty bad too.

And i'm broke as shit. Just driving the damn
thing to work and back and to the grocery store
and back until i get the money or financing for a
500-1000 dollar car. Keep my eye on the
antifreeze and no mo' trips to my hometown til i
get a new car. And hope the wheel don't fall off.
My car seen the last of the highway.

If my car breaks down I'm having it towed to the
nearest junk yard. This sucks, maybe i'll c if my
bank will give me a 1000 dollar personal loan
without a cosigner, or even a cash advance on my
credit card. Had enuf frigging loans always kept
my payments so we'll see. Deal with it tommorrow.
I hate to do this as i am in debt as it is but
fuck, you can't get around this town without
wheels. Plus it take me two months to save a
grand and that's while spending very frugal. 2
miles to work if i biked it i could deal, it would
suck but i could deal, but grocery shopping is a
dilemma itself without wheels. Sometimes i wish i
was in new york city then i wouldn't have to worry
about driving. This town has no public
transportation but overpriced taxis. If i was in
a bigger city at least they got buses.

Shits stressing me out. Talking to my bank tommorrow.

Plus finding a car is a pain in the ass. I gotta
have my dad or friend do a lookover i'd end up
getting ripped off. You can find decent cheap
cars but it's tough finding a decent cheap car.
Fuckityfuckinshit.

Two miles to work isn't far. Buy a bike to get to work. Good exercise
too...and you save you a heap of money. As for shopping...if you get
paid weekly then walk to the shops once a week...buy a weeks worth of
shopping and get a taxi home with it.

If monthly then go every month and get a months worth of shopping and a
taxi home.

Problem solved :)

Easy fix. Go to the junkyard and I'll send you

I live in south east London at the moment. Busy roads. I'd walk to work
if it was only two miles away.

Yes. Use the bike for work and the car to visit your folks or just
drive at the weekend. Cycling is a good form of exercise too...help you
sleep at night :)

What's harder exactly ? A two mile walk is fuck all. I easily cover
that distance on a daily basis...further when I had Dug.

> But yes i c his point. But i am still looking for wheels!

A car is useful for shopping and for escaping to a more country location
of a weekend.

It's a cultural thang, Jim. Most Americans hop in their car to drive around
the corner for a pack of cigarettes.

Do you know you're right ?! :) A relative of my aunt went to the US to
vist friends who lived there and they were horrified to learn that he'd
*walked* to the shops and not taken the car. A journey of one or two
'blocks' as you foreigners over there say.

It's the 'need' that makes drugs and alcohol a problem for some folk. I
know lots of people who drink socially and smoke the occasional
joint...because they *want* to.

When I drink or drug it quickly develops into a *need*...and all the
real pleasure goes from it quickly.

Long gone are my days of actually enjoying myself that way...but good on
those that do enjoy it :)

Reading between the lines...it appears that what you are saying is that
the 'few days' you've been 'good' are an endurance test rather than
actually living.

I hope to fuck I am wrong mate...for *your* sake.

I used to know a fellow whos house was set back about a quarter mile from
the road and he used to *drive* to the end of his driveway to pick up his

Remember that everyones sleep patterns are different. Don't be too sold on
the old line about a 'good nights sleep' being eight solid hours. Some
people wake up frequently in the night. The trick is to accept it as normal
(for you) and go back to sleep. Don't lay there and spend three hours
wondering if you have a sleep disorder or you'll acquire one. I'm a very
light sleeper and pretty much any kind of small sound will awaken me. But I
just identify what it is (was) and go back to sleep. No big deal.

It's been a while since I even took a toke on a 'J'. But I do like a wee
bit o' good Whisky from time to time. Maybe two or three times a month I'll
have a double (maybe two<g>) on ice before calling it a night. But, as you
say, I think if I drank much more than that, it would rapidly lose its
pleasure and become something that I 'had' to do. And it would be a shame
to fuck up something that I enjoy <g>

not really i just ran out of drugs and pills! And
this is one of those weeks i can't seem to swallow
down more then 2 beers (rare but it does happen)
She i fell asleep at a relatively decent time woke
up 4 hours later and here i am posting cause i
can't sleep. fUck!

I will have to say my production at work is up
about 10-20 percent this week! Big difference on
the paycheck. It don't seem like i feel any
better at work but i'm producing like a mofo.
What a coincidence hey?

Hehe when i quit drinking for 21 days 3rd month of
this job i also had production breakthroughs.

i actually even thought about buying a moped
instead of the car but i live downtown. Even so,
i'm guessing they make 'em light enuf you can
carry upstairs? Or i could put a tarp over if it

i know. It's not like i did drugs before work.
And it was like i get to work and overall feel
good. and didn't realize popping a pill or two
the night before was fucking my work performance.
It was still good but it's much better. I'm
going to have about the biggest check i had this
year!

Perfect example the video store is about a half a
