I'm not anti-cop in any way either, but I believe they should set the
example for the laws they enforce. This guy was stopped because he was
black and in an area where it was likely drugs or guns would be found on
him.

The police pulled him over for failure to use a turn signal. Do you know
when the last time I saw a Sheriff or State Trooper use a turn signal?
Never.

They roll through stop signs (California stops) and cruise at about 15 over,
only to see them pull into the ranch after they blow by you. Must have to
get back for a 10-21 and coffee.

Funny how they write a lot of civilians for the same thing. Our last drunk
driving road block went from 8pm to midnight, then they went home when they
got tired. Most of the public is out at that time so it makes for good
publicity. Do they realize that most of the drunks leave the clubs after 1
or 3 am? Sure they do. But they wrote 4 times as many windshield
violations as they did alcohol related summonses, so the average Joe that
can't just go 10-6 for vehicle maintenance has more to fear than a drunk.

I know, none of you guys do this, it is all the other bad cops that break
the rules they enforce. Kind of gives a new meaning to the term "selective
enforcement". Selective as to who gets what.
