I need to buy a laser CNC that has a work area of 8' X 4'

All,

I need to get a laser "yesterday" that has a work area of 8' X 4'.
I will use it for cutting plastic.
It need only be able to read in it's CAM app DXF files.

I need advise. Which one would be best for this?
For high volume production.

Look around for a used plotter ( for drawing of dxf files). Just
replace the pen with a laser.

But you have to be able to adjust the speed, the gantry has to be
rigid enough to take the weight of the laser.And you have to take that
signal pen down for switching the laser on.


Be aware, that cutting of plastics produces most likely toxic fumes.
So please use a good filtering system with active carbon unit inside.
