Hello...

Would anyone have details specific to running the Ultima tube and Power supply

Specific, five optical signal lines to the power supply..

MAGNET: LED TX (ON=Magnet Disabled, OFF=Magnet Enabled)
PSOK: LED RX
CB DRIVE: LED TX (ON=CAP CHARGE, OFF=SNUB / Crowbar)
CBOK: LED RX
LIGHT: LED TX (PWM Signal ?? @ what on/off freq? (On=Light Tube)

As understand, when the footswitch depressed,

MAGNET TX pulled LOW (OFF), LIGHT TX Pull HIGH (ON, PWM to set power level?)
CB DRIVE Pulled LOW to crow-bar / end of Pulse.

I have tried to look at the LIGHT signal on a CRO, what appears to be some sort of PWM signal that controls the tube power..

Im after some further details on the LIGHT signal.

Also, what is the deal of running the Ultima tubes in CW at low power levels ? could the same PWS be used and switched between Pulse or CW mode ?
