Hi all,

Is there any reference about the difference between
a KTP crystal, a KTP_F type crystal and a KTP_H crystal?

Just for curiousity, is there any possibility to do
frequency tripping of 1064 with these crystals?
Using SNLO it seems to be possible, but is there any
special considerations to take into account for???

Thanks for your time,
Lammertus

I assume:

KTP_F: Flux grown.
LTP_H: Hydrothermal grown.

F is cheaper and has a lower maximum power.

The phase matching angle is alos slightly different (22 versus 26 degrees or
something like that).

With most programs "Reply" should do the job.

Thanks,

What I'm up to is simply frequency doubling in the cavity
with a ktp crystal then through a brewster window to external
ktp or lbo crystal and do the tripling.

Whether to use F or H KTP depends on how hard you're going to push it.
H has higher damage threshold. I think the price difference is something
like 5-20:1, H:F.
