Hi,

I've just about completed the 8 CD course, am I better off doing the Language Builder or the Advanced course next ?

TIA

It probably wouldn't matter too much but the language builder is
supposed to follow the 8 cd course - the advanced course is the final
leg of MT's offerings so far and definitely pushes a little further
ahead than the builder course...

Unless you are a very fast learner the language builder is too fast
after the first course. I had to get the hang of the advanced course,
then go back to the language builder. It made a lot more sense to me
that way.
Good luck

True, in contrast with the first 8 hour french and his final 'advanced
course' where he also uses 2 tutees and takes them very slowly through
each item, getting them to think for themselves at their own pace
(painfully slow in the case of the beginners course), he's succeeded
with the 'builder' course - by use of a rapid-fire <english
phrase>=<french equivalent> approach - in cramming a lot of material
in to 2 hours. But it should be noted that the 'builder' is very
basic merely extending vocab and a few idioms. It introduces no new
structures of any significance nor any of the trickier uses of verbs
introduced in 'advanced'. As to dealing with the speed problem on
'builder' - it's only a matter of using your pause button between each
item on the CD and you can set the pace to suit yourself......
