I am however surprised, that you have not discovered the sensual side of
erotic poetry in URDU . I believe most of urdu poetry is very sensual in
nature ,specially the Ghazal side of it . According to history writers:-)
Ghazal means to talk to a female ,usually the one that one is interested
in:-) So how could it not be sensual ? :-))
But in order to come to the point ,let me start by saying that in our urdu
poetry there has been an abundance of topics .
Shaii’ri aik samandar voh bhi itna vasee’
Keh oos maiN koi tasav’vur nahiN kinare ka
Vasl ke mozoo’ pe muta’ad’dad shoraa’ ne bohat kuch irshad farmaya hai. Har
aik ka apna apna andaz-e-bayaaN he aur apni apni takhiy’yul parvari . Jaisaa
ke aap sab jante haiN ,shairi ke andaz badalte zamane ke saath badalte jate
haiN . Aik zamana tha ke jab mehboob ki ek jhalak ya ek nigah-e-ghalat andaz
hi aashiq ke liye kafi hoti thi ,aur nazroN ke is tasadam ki vajha se ek
mukammal ghazal keh dali jati thi . Ya phir mehboob ki zulfoN ko daikh kar
aashiq ka dil gustakhiyoN par oomand aataa thaa aur shokiyoN se pharpooor
aik ghazal vujood maiN aa jati thii Is zimn maiN Abdulhammed Adam sahab ka ek
shair arz he “Kakul-e-yaar ko bosoN se mo’at’tar kar do In andhairoN ko
aqidat se munavvar kar do “
Meer Sahab farmate haiN
Ham hooe ,tum hooe ,ke meer hooe
Oos ki zulfoN ke sab aseer hooe
Ghalib ki to baat hi aur he 
Voh to vasl ke lamhaat maiN khushi se jaan daine par tule baithe hai N
“ maiN aur haz’ze vasl ,khuda saaz baat he
jaaN nazr deni bhool gaya iztaraab maiN
Baat yeh hai ke Urdu zabaan apni gehraai,shustagi,aur ba-tehzeebi ki vajhaa
se mehboob-e-khas-o-aam hai Is liye visal-e-yaar jese “nazuk “ moozoo par bhi
hamare shoraa qalam ko sanbhaal kar chlana pasand karte haiN,aur had-de-adab
se bahar jana munasib khayal nahiN karte . Iss ka yeh matlab hargiz nahiN ke
aap ko urdu shairii maiN koi bad-tameez yaa behooda go shaairi nahiN milaiN
gi ,yaqeen kijiye iss samandar maiN ,jise urdu shairi kaha jata hai ,har
qisam ki nadi ka pani aa kar madgham hooaa he . To sabit yeh hooa ke hamare
shaiir hazraat in lateef jazboN se khali nahiN haiN ,ab savaal yeh peda hota
hai ke inn jazbaat ko alfaz ke qalib maiN kiss kiss ne aur kiss kiss tarha
dhalaa he ? Is baat ka javaab yeh he ke har ek ne iss bare maiN kuch na kuch
zaroor kaha he aaya voh “Ishq-e-haqeeqi “ ka zikr ho ya “ishq-majazi” ka
,ishq ke bare maiN shaiiroN ka ravai’ya kuch iss tarha ka he ke “Tum na mano
magar haqeeqat hai Ishq insaan ki zaroorat hai “ Khas tor par ishq-e-majazi
,jiss ki taraf aap ka ishara hai oos ki to boh’taat hai hamari shairi maiN .
Magar jo ba-zoq log haiN voh kuch in ashaar ke saath it’tifaaq karaiN ge :
Shama-e-ghazal ki lo ban jaye,aisaa misraa ho to kaho
Ik ik harf maiN soch ki khushboo ,dil ka ujaala ho to kaho
Vese to har shakhs ke dil maiN aik kahani hoti he
Hijr ka lava ,gham ka saliqa,dard ka lehja ho to kaho
Iss sari taqreer ke aakhir maiN aap ko pichle aur naye zamane ke ishq maiN jo
farq aa chuka he oos ke bare maiN batana chahooN gi ,go keh yeh farq kisi se
dhaka chupa to nahiN
Aik shaiir ne mizah ke rang maiN iss nuqte ko qaid kiya hai
Farmate haiN
“Iss dor ke majnoo ko ,jangal maiN naa dhoondho
Lailaa ko liye baithaa hai ,Sheezaan ke andar “
Ghalib Sahab ne farmaya hai
“lai to looN sote maiN oos ke paaoN ka bosa magar
Aisi baatoN se voh kafir badgumaaN ho jaye gaa “
Yaani becharaa aashiq apne mehboob ki qadam bosi maiN bhi had-de-adab aur
oos ki khushi ya khafgi malhooz rakhta thaa ,aur oos zamane ke mehboob kuch
ziyadah hi zalim aur nak-chaRhe qisam ke lagte the (that is my personal
opinion) keh bechare aashiqoN par jor-o-sitam kar kar ke oon ka khana kharab
kar dete the aur mayyat pe bhi nahiN aate the  So any way lets finish
this up with a ghazal from Amjad Islam Amjad Which IMHO is a very sensual one
and describes the raz-o-niyaz b/w and aashiq and a mehboob without being
offensive .
Chehre pe mere zulf ko phailaao kisi din
Kiyaa roz garajte ho ,baras jaao kisi din
RazoN ki tarha utro mere dil maiN kisi shab
Dastak pe mere haath ki ,khul jao kisi din
PaiRoN ki tarha husn ki barish maiN nahaa looN (paiRoN
=trees)
Badal ki tarhaa jhoom ke ghir aao kisi din
Khushboo ki tarha guzro mere dil ki gali se
PhooloN ki tarhaa mujh pe bikhar jao kisi din
Phir haath ko khairaat mile band-e-qabaa ki
Phir lutf-e-shab-e-vasl ko duhraao kisi din
GuzraiN jo mere ghar se to ruk jaaeN sitare
Iss tarhaa meri raat ko chamkao kisi din
MaiN apni har ik saans usi raat ko dai dooN
Sar rakh ke mere sine pe ,so jao kisi din
