A friend of mine was looking for some shers on Eid and Ramzaan.I will
be grateful if the members can cite someexamples.

Here is another Bhavana jii,

iftaar-i-saum kii jise kuchh dast-gaah ho
us shaKHs ko zaruur hai rozah rakhaa kare
jis paas rozah khol ke khaane ko kuchh nah ho
rozah agar nah khaa'e to naa-chaar kyaa kare

If we have to include films songs too, then one more
such comes to mind :

"Eid ka din tere bin hai pheeka
Aa ja aa ja ke din hai KHushi ka"

It is from the 1958 film "Sohni Mahiwal" which had some
great music by the late Naushad.
