Hi Sudhanshu,

Here's what I can remember off hand. There's at least one more sh'er
in this GHazal.

na kisI ki ANkh ka nUr hUN, na kisI ke dil ka qarAr hUN
jo kisI ke kAm na Aa sakE maiN woh Ek musht-e-GHubAr hUN

mera rang-rUp bigaD. gayA, mera yAr mujh se bichhaD. gayA
jo chaman KHizAN meiN ujaD. gayA maiN usI ki fasl-e-bahAr hUN

paye fAtihA koi Aaye kyUN, koi chAr phUl chaD.hAye kyUN
koi Aa ke sham'a jalAye kyUN maiN woh bEkasI ka mazAr hUN

na to mAIN kisI ka habIb hUN, na 'zafar' kisI ka raqIb huN
jo bigaD. gayA woh nasIb hUN, jo ujaD. gayA woh dayAr hUN

I'm not sure the matla is the same one as I have stated. I have heard
two versions of this sh'er and only one of them contains the
taKHallus. The second version replaces 'zafar' by the phrase 'to
maiN' [na to mAIN kisI ka raqIb hUN, etc.]. In addition, I believe
there is one more sh'er to this GHazal, which I can't recall now.

Can someone help Sudhanshu and me out?

The missing sh'er is as follows:

maiN naheeN huN naGHma-e jAN-fizA, mujhe sun ke kOi karEga kyA
maiN baD.e birOg ki hooN sadA, main baD.e dukhee ki pukAr hooN

birog = separation, hijr, ``virah''

A bit too gloomy, don't you think?!

this could be possible. the reason being that rafi has sung this gazal in some
film. probably the taKHallus was replaced in the film song to make it 'filmi'.
just a guess.
