How are you guys doing? It's been quite sometime since the last time I posted any ghazal or shair. I
have been busy a lot with my studies and haven't had a chance to think about anything else. Anyway,
here are few ashaars and I hope that you guys will enjoy them.
Ghalib ki ghazal sae leay gaae kuch ashaar haen...

Wo firaaq aur wo wisaal kahan
Wo shab-o-rooz-o-mah-o-saal kahan
Thi wo aik shakhs kae tasawar sae
Ab wo ranaee-e-khayal kahan
Itna aasaan nahee lahoo roona
Dil maen taqaat jigar maen haal kahan
Fikr-e-duniya mae sur khapata hoon
Maen kahan aur yae wabaal kahan

Umr kati bae-chayni maen baray ab aaraam sae haen
Ishrat-e-mahroomi tou mili hur chund hum nakaam sae haen
Ab wo soukoon ho ya bae-tabi jab tum bakhshoo jab hi milay
Iss ki rakhna laaj kay hum munsoob tumharae naam sae haen
Koii tamana saath nahee hae koii tasawar pass nahee hae
Kaisae kati gi yae shab-e-hijraan aaj akalae shaam sae haen
Kyoun na kuraen arbaab-e-mohabat jaan-o-dil say unko qabool
Durd kay kuch paeghaam milae haen aur tumharae naam sae haen
Ghum sae mayaser ishrat-e-hasti, dil ko soukoon bae-tabi sae
Hum ko naseeb aaraam nahee, yani hum aaraam sae haen
Ahl-e-wafa kae khatir tum furiyaad hi sumjh ker sunn lo
Aahoon kae muzdae sae haen naloon maen paeghaam sae haen
Noor sae Tabish jis kae ho aik daeemii rooz-e-wisl touloo
Aasee sahr kae hum mutamani upni aik aik shaam sae hae
