Difference among DESTINOS workbooks and textbooks

Hi—
I'm trying to learn Spanish, and Destinos just started (episode 1) on
TV. I was going to buy the text, since I'm not taking a course using
Destinos, but I got confused at the choices for text and workbook when
I got to Amazon.com.

Does anyone know the difference between these texts and these
workbooks? They seem to have different ISBN numbers, so they've got
to differ somehow...Which do you recommend?

May I ask what city you live in that you receive Destinos on TV?

Which channel/network and time?

Several years ago, I watched these and found them quite good. I taped
some of them.

Lani,

If your local community or junior college has a distance learning
program, you might be able to find Destinos on their learning cable
television channel. In the Seattle area, the Destinos series is
broadcast by Seattle Community College on their channel on basic cable
television.
