Nuntius/Nuntium can both mean 'Newsbringer' and 'News' (as singular).
But im used to understand:
Nuntius - Newsbringer
Nuntium - News (singular)
Nuntia - News (plural)
novus, nova, novum - new
nova Res - a new Thing (not necessarily a Message/News)
Novum - same as nova Res
Res novae - new Things, also: Renovation, Revolution
Quid novi in Culinâ? - What is new in the Kitchen?
Greet from Klaus.
About the Annunciation [sic], there's a medieval song with the line "Nova!
Nova! Ave fit ex Eva!"
