intrusive Italian I.
Is the Ephemeris a daily now? A lot of solecisms or maybe just typos are
creeping in lately.

antecedent of sui[s] is regimen, then why can't it read naves suae? Eius
might be needed if it weren't for the passive ascendantur. Even so why
declare war against a people for boarding their own ships?

Why later do I read "portos" for "portus?" Whence this cacoethes nova
verba cudendi?

I'm surprised you didn't find this 6 years ago, Unka Jon. Anyway that
journalist is a fine specimen of British womanflesh (if her picture is
recent). She is somewhat redolent of 99, Maxwell Smart's smarter sidekick.
