I just came across this beautiful title for the Blessed Virgin Mary. I love it! I love her!

I just want to make sure that I get the Latin correct. Would it be --->

It's probably right as long as the spear is tipped up vertical. 'Cuspis
hastae' occurs and also 'cuspis or spiculum' for spearhead. Words for
spearlike weapons: "hasta, lancea, iaculum, pilum; sarissa."

What is the word that was used to spear the side of Jesus hanging upon the cross? Lancea? Origin of our English word for lance and lancer? Might be more appropriate?

In statues of Minerva / Athena holding a spear what Latin word is used for her spear?

Most likely a "pilum" with the soldiers at the cross; aerodynamic
throwing spear, javelin. "Gladius" and two "pila" were the standard
legionary weapons.
The old-fashioned "hasta" (broad shaft (often wooden) and broader
spear-head) was still around, and it could have been there.
Athena's carrying a "hasta" here;

Latin _lancea_, Greek λόγχη, in St John 19.34.

Thank-you much! I'll go with lancea then.
