Well I hope this isn't a waste but it's bugging the hell out of me.

If any of you are familiar with Type O Negative, specifically with the track titled "Nettie" from the "Life is Killing Me" album, there is a chant in the song starting at 3:20 min. into the song.

It sounds like Latin to me but I'm not sure. I've worn out google's search engines dry for a translation but I came up with nothing. Thanks in advance.

I've listened to it at 3:20 of:

but can't make out what's going on.

Nor is there any clue in the published lyric -

"Helping" is not that we do your homework,
so what have you done sofar?

Would you think it likely that "decay" is a Latin word?

Ever translated the Latin word "Hoax"?

Ok, Here's what I've got; "invocus virium solo crux matris sin novo vis for tuit dis magnus omni dei" and Google translate gives some weird translations depending on the context but I think he's saying something like; "I invoke the powers of the cross. My mother alone could move the one great god."

It's pseudo Latin; Latin-sounding, but not Latin.
Vangelis did something similar in this track;
