Per undas adversas

In dutch this translates to something like, " against the stream
" ( not following the stream )

Please, who knows what the exeeding value would be in latin ?

i guess i'm looking for something like "ahead of the stream" .... or
"viewing from the spring/ source ?"

and also in English.
'Ventus adversus' is een adverse wind (tegenwind), so 'per undas
adversas' = litt. 'through the adverse waves' = 'against the stream'.

"Per undas adversas" (against the stream) is the motto of the Dutch
General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD), and is of Ovidian
provenance (Metamorphoses, book 15, line 732, where the reference is to a
ship being sailed upstream).

But what you want to be expressed in Latin is not sufficiently clear.

1 That is not Dutch, but English.

2 "Per undas adversas" would mean something like

or

"exeeding value"? Do you mean "superlative" [overtreffende trap]?

You better say it in Dutch, I doubt your translation is what you mean.
