    MANILA, Dec. 24 (PNA) -- In his last Christmas message as Chief
Executive, President Ramos called on all Filipinos to be God-fearing
so
that peace, love, brotherhood and progress will reign all over the
country.

    "It is my every good wish that each Filipino, at home and in the
other countries of the world, will be able to celebrate the Yuletide
Season with the peace and goodwill which the angels heralded the birth
of Jesus Christ" almost 2,000 years ago.

    This is the sixth time in a row since 1992 that he made a
Christmas
message as President to the nation.

    "May the wonder land power of Christmas also strengthen the love
and
the affection we feel for each other, as well as for the rest of the
members of the international human family. May the Christmas spirit
make
us realize that we are part of something that is much larger than
ourselves, even as we reaffirm our oneness with the whole of God's
creation," he added.

    "Sa pinaka-dakila at pinaka-masayang araw na ito ng pagsilang ng
ating Panginoong Hesukristo, ako at ang aking buong pamilya, gayundin
ang mga kasama ko sa paglilingkod sa pamahalaan, as taos-puso at
matapat
na naghahangad na sumainyo nawa ang mga biyaya at tunay na diwa ng
Pasko.

    "May the wonder and power of Christmas also strengthen the love
and
the affection we feel for each other, as well as for the rest of the
members of the international human family. May the Christmas spirit

    "Maghari nawang lubos sa ating mga puso at diwa ang kapayapaan,
kapatiran at pagmamahalang adhika ng Dakilang Manunubos nang Siya ay
isilang sa daigdig na ito at nang sa gayon ay maging tunay na
makabuluhan para sa ating lahat at sa buong daigdig ang kaluwalhatian
ng
Pasko.

    "Kasama ko ang ating Unang Ginang na si Ming at ang aming mga anak
sa dalangin na makamtan ng Sambayanang Pilipino ang kaligayahan at
