Cebuano Construction Supply celebrates 31 years

celebrating its 31 years in the construction business together with the
inauguration today of its new bathroom interiors, fixtures and tile
showroom.
Vice president and general manager Henry Onglatco said the
business started in 1968 in the downtown area as a general and
industrial hardware store.
In 1994, the construction supply store moved to A.S. Fortuna St.
in Mandaue City to be closer to subdivision developments in the north.
Two years ago, the company was appointed the exclusive
distributor of HCG bathroom fixtures, the No. l brand of water closets
in Taiwan, and Mariwasa Tiles for the Eastern and Western Visayas.
Its new 650-square-meter showroom will be the biggest one to
offer the complete lines of HCG and Mariwasa outside Manila, Onglatco
said.
These products are also being sold in Bohol and Leyte through
Cebuano Construction Supply's dealer network there.
Onglatco said that the HCG products available are from "the
grand luxury to economy (categories)."
He commented that construction is slowly picking up this year
with the strong performance of the middle and high-end residential
segments.
There is still a continued slowdown in big developments such as
construction of condominiums, he said.
He attributed the company's longevity to its having gained the
trust of its customers, and given good prices and quality service. (PNA)
