Hello Everyone,

I am currently conducting some research and I am seeking your
assistance. Some time ago while reseaching another issue, I recall finding
an article that provided a reason for the question of the 'dark painted room
looks smaller than a light painted room'. If my recollection is correct
the difference was due to stimulation of the eye increasing movement and
therefore increasing the apparent size of the room.

I now need to find this information for my current body of research, but
I have been unable to find the publication, or a web site that is of
assistance (and I have now spent many many hours surfing). Would anyone
out there know, where I can find information on this subject. I really
need the article to cover the mechanics.

I would like to thank you in advance for your assistance and I look
forward to hearing from anyone who can provide me with a reference to
continue my research.

Yours sincerely,

Bruce Hilliard
