Hello,

I am going to try something I have never done before. I will give you the
oppertunity to buy some of my best work.

A very nice framework for cuda written in the Delphi language. This will
allow you to use cuda from Delphi programs with ease.

Cuda kernels will still need to be written in Cuda C/C++ however most of the
plumbing around it is neatly solved by the Delphi framework.

I offer you this framework in return for money, not because I really need
the money, but because there is little to no forward movement for Cuda on
the Delphi front.

If I were a 15 year old kid I would love to have a framework like mine
preferably with a nice delphi to cuda/ptx compiler so that Cuda Kernels
could be written in Delphi language.

Delphi's language would need to be extended a little bit to offer such a
possibility.

I have grown a bit tired of programming in general and programming in
Delphi, perhaps I am over the hill, I do program from time to time when
something interesting comes along.

Maybe my motivation to continue to program has sunk. Other aspects of life
interest me now which might not be achieveable for me or maybe the money
will help at those fronts.

My own Cuda framework reminds me a little bit of Firemonkey, it was also a
independent solution to a graphicaly GUI, perhaps with many shortcomings,
maybe framework is of a much higher quality, but the principle is the same.
My Cuda framework would probably fit in perfectly with the Delphi product
itself.

So I am kinda hoping that this usenet posting will be read by those people
in charge at Embarcadero and might contact me to see if we can work out a
deal.

It will be an expensive deal though. I am not going to sell my framework to
cheaply. In total I think I spent about 6 to 9 months or so developing it
around 2010, 2011 or so... so the code has been stall since then... it's up
to date with CUDA 4.2 or so.

I will be honest with you, the future of CUDA is uncertain. Will it continue
to exist ? Or will it be killed off/dominated by cpu/gpu integrated
solutions ? (For example the APUs from AMD and maybe intel in the future).
There is still hope for CUDA in case nvidia integrates an ARM cpu with their
gpu. Though NVIDIA seems to have fallen behind since AMD already claims to
have such solutions. I have not seen those first hand.

Perhaps this is also a good reason for me to sell the framework while it is
still of some use. Perhaps it will be obsolete in the future, or perhaps it
will be the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Another good reason is to prevent stupidities by other people, they could
for example start writing code in OpenCL or other worse solutions. I'd
rather seem them use a fine framework like mine. Perhaps with support from
the embarcadero engineers the framework can even be made better, though I do
also fear that it might be made worse ;) Perhaps they will even learn a few
tricks from my code, some nice design decisions.

Anyway enough with the advertising in case anybody is interested in
contacting me and working out a deal I can be reached at the following email
address:

s k y b u c k @ h o t m a i l . c o m

(without the spaces).

I shall write it down one more time to prevent any google modifications of
my e-mail address:

S#K#Y#B#U#C#K#2#0#0#0#AT#H#O#T#M#A#I#L#DOT#C#O#M

Removes the #
Replace AT with @
Replace DOT with .

Bye,
Skybuck.
