No where. No such critter, that I ever heard of.
QBasic only came in two flavors, 1.0 & 1.1
QuickBasic came in 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 4.1, 4.5, (6.?), 7.0, 7.1 and
VBDOS 1.0. No 7.5.

Well, one such is BCET, but it is for Win32 and doesn't do GRAPHICS
and some other things. 2nd URL in the sig if you want to try it.

PDS 6.0 was released - it was buggy and rapidly followed by 7.0
Yea, but it was a bit of a hack job, that's why the ?. The compiler
was 6.0, but the IDE was 4.5, IIRC.

When 6.0 came out we were using MS Business Basic 1.2 (1983)
(BCD maths and numeric storage - rather than the MS format)
IIRC that had no IDE
I did not use PDS 6.0, but I think the others just chucked away the
IDE and used SideKick Plus
PDS 7.0 used the generic M editor, most of us used that, but I did not
bother and stuck with SK Plus
It is a bit of a pity that MS did not continue with BCD and just offer
IEEE as an alternative - but I can see that they wanted to get inline
with industry standards.
However all the Old basics are still available from
GWBASIC, QBasic, QuickBasic etc available from here

QuickBasic4.5 was the IDE for Compiler 6.0, AFAIK.

7 had the M editor, and it also had the QBX IDE. The copy of 6 that I
have also seems to have the M editor, with QB as the IDE. 7.1 and
VBDOS don't seem to have the M editor.

Yes, being able to do:
"DIM Total AS DECIMAL * 10" ' (floating deciaml point) or
"DIM Total AS DECIMAL * 10.2" ' (fixed decimal point)
would have been very nice. Maybe I should add that to BCET.
Much better than the abortion they created for PDS 7: CURRENCY.
(which BCET treats as an int 64 with no bias)

My error: QuickBasic 4.00b as it turns out. Just tried it.

FYI: All are still Copyright MS and with the possible exception of
QBasic, would probably be a copyright violation to download.
I just checked, and ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/MSLFILES/OLDDOS.EXE
seems to be there and seems to still download just fine.

Funny, I can't get there with IE (XPSP2) but I can using Filezilla. If I
try in Filezilla with a passive connection I can't get a directory listing,
but if I uncheck that option, I can get a directory listing and dowloading
works fine.
