Experience Required: 2-4 years professional
· LARSON ASSOCIATES, INC. is a 5-person professional design firm just outside
of Boston, providing complete design services in landscape architecture and
site planning to both public and private sector clients on a broad range of
project sizes. We have an opening for a full-time landscape architect with 2-4
years of professional experience. Our current staffing need is geared toward
public institutional projects, but we have a number of private commercial and
residential projects that are active as well.
· The successful candidate will participate directly in all aspects of the
design process within a supportive work environment. Such a candidate should
be motivated, responsible and able to work well individually and in a group.
· Professional skills required are thorough knowledge of and strong
capabilities in design, contract documents and construction administration.
Opportunity for project management and client relations is expected with this
position. The applicant should have experience with consultant coordination on
collaborative design teams. A sound understanding of construction and
contractor/owner relationships is important.
· Technical skills required for the position are fluency with the Microsoft
Windows operating system for PCs, AutoCAD R14 and Microsoft Office along with
strong graphic, writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of NE plant
material and experience with planting design is important.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
