Landscape Drawing software

I'm searching for a user friendly landscape drawing & design software .What
i require is a package where i can use my own names on the plants i use ,and
as i'm selling my drawings ,they need to be impressive.Help would be
appreciated.One suggestion was AUTO CAD lite ?

EcoCAD 4.0 from Software republic(htt//:www.raincad.com).excellent package

If you are new to CAD, it may be wise to try a low-end program first. I used
Abracadata (see website) for a few months and produced acceptable designs for
clients. - only 50 bucks. Can customize and name symbols, etc. - many of the
features of more expensive products. Major drawback is the native file format,
.lig, is not exportable. Higher end programs take some practice to learn bezier
drawing, etc. Good luck.

Check out Eagle point. They have stand alone packages as well as auotcad and
intellicad packages.

I suggest AutoCad LT... we have a full copy of AutoCAD14 in the office and
other machines use the LT version... for LA work there is almost nothing we
need the full version for. And, it's compatable with all the base surveyed
drawings that come from the engineers & architects offices...
Think of it as a drawing tool, learn how to use it as a graphic tool and your
drawings will look very professional and graphic.
