In some cases, we have been asked to locate missing heirs, who have not been
seen by their families for decades and were thought deceased. In one of
these cases, we had to locate the family who were heirs to an estate. It
appeared that the father, who had not been seen for many years was heir to
the estate. We were assured by his son, his daughter and the hospital that
the man was deceased........but we were unable to locate a death
certificate.......so we kept looking........We found him alive, nearly
destitute, living in poverty in New York City....and delivered him a check
for $30,000.
