Usenet is a lot like a public pool where people urinate and there
isn't anything you can do about it.
This is an anonymous jerkoff who's been stalking me online for years.
I have no reason whatsoever to believe it was ever a client, or that
it knows me personally at all.
The moron is untraceable and has appeared under a hundred IDs. I've
never even seen it post anything about me that could not be gleaned or
invented from looking at my public website.
Contacting the Bar isn't going to affect me at all, they like me, and
my reputation is spotless. I would just strongly recommend you not
act on the basis of Usenet trolls unless you have the slightest reason
to think there is a basis.
You might want to make a follow-up call to the Bar to let them know
you goofed, but either way, t won't impact me.
Like an e-mail from a bank, or a Nigerian who'll make you rich,
nothing on Usenet should ever be regarded as true without more.
