"I was very excited over the prospect of arriving in Greentown. I had
been spending a lot of time with maps and pictures exploring that way.
I knew there was so much that I had either taken for granted or just
plain ignored as a young man. Would this place once again become my
home? Would I be happy there? Should I continue where I am now? It's
been so long now after all. I do like my job here. Best one I've ever
had.

I was able to spend several days there. Most of it seems a blur. A
combination of nostalgia and discovering. There's a lot that I want to
go back there to explore now. I love to explore. There's so much I
never thought to look for on previous visits. Squirrels for instance.
I asked "are there squirrels here?". There's so much we don't open our
eyes to. Yes, there were squirrels. Everywhere. A veritable
infestation of them. Perhaps many more than 25 years ago, since I read
they (the fox squirrels) had been introduced.

The buildings are fantastic. The houses are incredible. Street after
street, mile after mile of tree lined streets of remarkable
individually unique houses.
So much green compared to here. Here there is only one street where
the sidewalk has a grassy yard on one side and a wide grassy tree
lined strip on the other side. In Greentown, there's endless miles of
such streets.
