Looking for something like Karafun Studio

I used to use karaoke to learn a little portuguese. I used Karafun Studio to enter some lyrics from some of my favorite brasilian songs and the artists's music tracks. And then I would sync them up with Karafun Studio. I have no interest in performing these. I just like to be able to see the bouncing ball on the lyrics as I try to sing them.
Anyway, Karafun Studio is no longer available and I can't get a hold of the old Windows software - I don't want to download the old stuff from suspicious sources. Is there any other software out there that I can use that is cheap or free?
