Q: What's the connection between Kirsty MacColl and Steven Spielberg?

A: They've both got jaws at the bottom of the sea!

She's only been dead for five minutes and her fans (including myself)
are still in mourning. How bloody stupid does one have to be to find
such a joke even slightly amusing? I find it offensive - I find YOU
offensive.

Grow up.

did you get a real buzz from being the first jerk-off to post a joke about a
person who just died. and your thrill was there even though the joke was not
in the slightest funny anyway? just think, you were first, you're a hero!

I have no idea either, but sounds like a personal friend of Brian, nfirby,
and Michael's.

Don't worry Garry. Your detractors (why come to alt.jokes if you can't take
one?) are the kind that would bust a gut over a dead baby joke, but if their
favorite celebrity gets made fun off they fly off the handle.

Singer and songwriter Kirsty MacColl has died after an accident on a
diving holiday in Mexico.
The singer was killed on Monday in the sea close to the coral island of
Cozumel, off the Yucatan peninsula.
Details are sketchy, but it is believed she was hit by a speedboat which
was in an area reserved for swimmers.

You poor, stupid, ignorant fool.

As it happens, I entered "Kirsty MacColl" in the Deja search engine to
try and find out more information about the tragic accident - and
especially to find out if there was a Kirsty MacColl newsgroup so that
I could share the grief of this sad loss. I klicked on a mail with the
subject "Kirsty MacColl" and found this sickening, offensive and not
even slightly amusing joke.

Would you be able to "take a joke" if the subject had been about the
tragic death of someone you loved or admired? I think not. And in the
same vein, I wouldn't be able to laugh about dead babies - especially
not real dead babies (ie. actually existed).

You don't need to bother answering this post - I doubt I'll be back.

You are a very very very sick person----
We are disgusted at your sense of ( lack of ) humour ---- They have doctors
that might be able to work wonders with your mind!!! We suggest you forget
about submitting Dead Babies Stories and get your mind fixed!!!!! A joke is
to be funny and bring smiles to our faces--- Look in the dictionary to
define it...
I know I speak for many of us who enjoy this newsgroup.....
