Job Description:
Generates visual graphic illustrations and integrates elements into computer based training formats. Develops graphics for each production stage, from preliminary components to the combination of elements into final products. Is skilled in computer layout and design techniques and chooses the proper tools and the appropriate media to create high quality visual effects that best conform to the customer's specified requirements. Uses original ideas and established procedures, both independently and as a team member, to create illustrations, graphic elements, and sophisticated graphic products that satisfy the customer's requirements within the specified timeframe.
Skill & Qualifications:
Apply knowledge of conventional and computer graphic tools and techniques to create and integrate graphics, animation, video, and audio to produce multimedia for Computer Based Training. Ability to interpret technical/mechanical illustrations for the creation of 2D - 3D illustrations. Ability to visualize information through communication with subject matter experts, instructional designers and developers.
Desired proficiency with the following Software: Flash, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D Studio Max.
Education:
A.A./A.S. in Computer Art or Multimedia Design; 3 yrs. exp. designing/developing interactive 2D/3D CBT graphics/animations.
General Position Description
Conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork for publications such as magazines, brochures, handbooks, and posters, translating facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning. May organize, develop, and coordinate art and graphics within guidelines consistent with RFP's for proposal submission. Develops interpretive themes that convey ideas and information. Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions. Provides guidance on graphic technology. May apply technical, commercial, and fine art technique to the conception, planning, and creation of pictorial work for software and hardware systems.
