JAVA DEVELOPER
Minimum two (2) years' hands-on development in JAVA through coursework, internship or prior work experience Design and development of object-oriented applications in Windows and/or Linux Use of Swing to develop user interfaces Use of middle-ware in distributed applications Knowledge of design patterns and why they may be used Familiarity with Software Engineering Life Cycle Models Familiarity/experience with Eclipse and/or IntelliJ Ability to work in a team environment and follow recognized software engineering practices Strong analytical skills Self-motivation with the ability to work with limited supervision and oversight
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Development of a map-centric user interface (e.g. NASA World Wind, RaptorX, FalconView) Work with software-defined radios (SDRs) Development of client-server implementations
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
