Sr Software Engineer
Job Description seeks a Senior Developer with excellent J2EE/Java
skills to join our team of talented and motivated engineers. The team
is responsible for the entire web front-end, including the
presentation and business logic tiers of an n-tiered website, and
logical changes to the database tier. The n-tiered architecture for
our high-volume OLTP is extremely complex and requires a high level of
skill to master.
The successful candidate would work closely with project management,
architects, engineers and QA during requirements, design, development
and testing phases of projects ranging from small to very large. This
role requires the candidate to be able to design and implement a
solution with minimum guidance.
Minimum qualifications include a BSCS or equivalent and at least five
years of experience a a software developer; must have significant
experience with J2EE/Java, including common services like JSP/Servlet,
JDBC, RMI and EJB to be considered.
Must have solid database schema design experience and the ability to
write complex SQL statements; and a minimum of two years working with
Oracle and PL/SQL.
Proven background in the design, development, and deployment of large
scale web applications, high-volume transactional platforms and/or
complex operational systems required.
