Job Description:
Responsible for the development of specifications and end-user requirements for specific products or product lines. Create, own and drive a product vision and articulate that vision to marketing, technical personnel & Sr. management. Must be able to design and manage revenue programs to support our products, and understand the competitive landscape that challenges our business. Work with design and engineering teams internally ensuring products are delivered on schedule and that they meet the required specifications. Work with third-party customers and partners to ensure their content is seamlessly integrated, functional and up-to-date. Closely examine the results of product testing and deployment to determine features and enhancements. Monitor market trends and the industry landscape, identifying products to create that will enhance our competitive advantage.
Job Requirements:
Perform production tasks: interface mock-ups, design documents and formal specifications.
Must have understanding of Web-publishing programs and Internet protocols, as well as Macromedia Flash and Director/Shockwave. Understanding and experience with software engineering and design processes a plus.Minimum of 2-3 yrs. hands-on online production and/or project management experience, as well as 2+ years in product-planning experience in the Internet or media space.
Familiarity with web and television animation, serial television, media and/or branding a desirable plus.
