This position is accountable for the efficient management of the maintenance department in all areas of

maintenance personnel, shop equipment, production machinery, building, grounds, and safety.

Job Description:
1. Managing People
· Provides direction and gains compliance
· Includes subordinates in planning
· Takes responsibility for subordinates? activities
· Makes self available to subordinates
· Provides regular performance feedback
· Develops subordinates? skills and encourages growth
2. Maintenance
· Inspects equipment regularly
· Determines preventative maintenance needs
· Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled
· Diagnoses equipment problems
· Maintains adequate parts and supplies
· Ensures repairs are performed promptly
3. Maintenance ? Other Duties
· Assumes responsibility for ensuring safe work habits
. Responsible for safe mechanical conditions
· Plans and follows up for constant improvement
