Our client is a small, high-growth company with strong financial backing and a successful, recent flotation. Its products are cryptographic accelerators - a range of products that relieve the performance bottleneck caused by computer security protocols - and a toolkit that allows the use of a wide range of security applications over a wide range of computer systems.
The Company is based in the centre of Cambridge and has offices in Boston, New York City, Silicon Valley, Paris and Hamburg. Its customers are:-
· The Financial Sector - retail banks, trading exchanges, credit card and e-cash providers, mutual funds providers and financial information providers.
· Internet Commerce - web server manufacturers, web merchants, certification authorities (CAS), ISPs and subscription services.
· Others - Telecom companies, corporate intranets and extranet providers.

Educated to degree level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. With a min of 4 post-graduate industrial experience of digital hardware development, with a proven track record in at least one of the following: embedded RISC processor based systems, board level digital circuit design, FPGA design, VHDL and logic synthesis, embedded systems programming and software design. Candidates who have experience of working in a small/medium-sized, high-growth company preferred.
