Senior Producer, Online News (Ref: 003014)
Our client, a blue-chip global broadcast public relations consultancy, is launching a new service to provide content for on-line news services and journalists. It requires a Senior Producer to edit and manage the service and its staff.
Candidates should have a good all-round journalistic background – they will be responsible for a wide range of news content, from general and political news through to business and sport – domestic and international. They should be used to managing teams of reporters and\or sub-editors\producers, ideally in an on-line environment, and have a good understanding of HTML and the internet technical environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with drive and ambition.
The position will be based in central London and carry a salary of around £35-40,000 p.a. plus benefits, depending on experience.
