DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for maintaining the Oracle Financial
System and making enhancements to the Oracle to the Oracle Financial system
used by BroadVision's Finance and Accounting departments, on a worldwide
basis. This will involve interaction with every facet of the finance and
accounting department.
Analyse current procedures and processes and suggest improvements to
increasse accuracy and productivity of all Oracle Financial users. This
would include implementing new software packages, as they become necessary
and their interface to the Oracle Financial Systems as well as enhancing
(tune-up) currently used modules.
This position will also involve interaction with all other departments
within the company in order to facilitate data input and reporting
requirements from Oracle Financials. Data input comes from Oracle and
non-Oracle applications. Reporting is generated using Oracle General Ledger
FSG's as well as Oracle Discoverer 3.1.
Will hire and manage Oracle Technical personnel to implement changes to the
financial systems, which will include set- up, testing and production
support to Oracle Financial users.
will manage Oracle Database Administrator who will be responsible for the
Oracle Financial Database.
This position will also interact directly with MIS and IS department in
order to integrate Oracle Financials to other applications, as well as
schedule backups and maintain the system hardware.
Requirements:
Prior experience maintaining, implementing and/or using Oracle Financias
Release 11 for the following modules; General Ledger/Centra, Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Inventory, Service, Cash
Management, Fixed Assets, Alert, Bill of Materials, Purchasing, Project
Billing, Project Costing, Time and Expense. Prior implementation experience
in the above modules would be preferred.
Oracle Discoverer 3.1 and Oracle ADI experience required.
Oracle Developer 2000 expereince is required.
SQL programming experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Skills:
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access.
Working for a software company.
Familiarity with HTML of Java.
Strong accounting background.
