JOB TITLE: Research Engineer
LOCATION: New Iberia, US-LA
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $55000 - $55000

DESCRIPTION:

Location of position: New Iberia

Purpose of Position: Direct and perform research and development activities in
laboratory setting. Intent of R&D activities is the enhancement of existing
ceramic media products and development of new similar for oilfield and
non-oilfield applications. Direct and monitor contract analytical and research
activities.Duties: Perform laboratory studies and investigations pertaining to
product enhancements and new product development. Direct LT conductivity
activities. Direct and monitor contract analytical and research activities.
Address customer complaint issues/questions. Supervise Laboratory Technicians.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Maintain industry contracts
through attendance at technical and trade show meetings.

Requirements: Machines or equipment used-grinding equipment, photo microscopy,
laboratory instrumentation, kiln & furnace operations, raw material
preparation, lab sieves, mercury porosimeter. Working conditions-Laboratory and
office environments. lifting 100lb. bags to waist level. R&D experience.
preferably in high tech, ceramic, or related industry.

Education:MS Ceramic Engineering
