Timberwolf Press is an exciting new multi-media publisher and Internet
startup aiming to redefine the boundaries of publishing and
entertainment. Founded by Internet Pioneer Patrick Seaman.
Patrick Seaman was the first person hired by the founders of
broadcast.com (now, Yahoo! Broadcast). Patrick helped develop
technology and negotiate major media deals as Director of Technology
and later Vice President of International Development & Special
Projects. After four years of launching broadcast.com, Patrick aided
in the transition during Yahoo!’s $5.4 billion acquisition of the
company. At that point, Patrick decided to use the technology he
pioneered to pursue his true passion, which is writing and publishing.
MERGING ENTERTAINMENT AND TECHNOLOGY
Timberwolf Press publishes fiction titles in book form, but takes it a
step further by using REAL ACTORS to perform Dramatic, Unabridged
Weekly Episodes in performances broadcast at
http://www.TimberwolfPress.com. Not the dull, dry droning on we find
on so many of today's old-style "audio-books" but fresh, dynamic
performances by professional actors in an exciting weekly episodic
format taking the reader through the entire work. Of course, you'll
also be able to order the performances on cassette tape, CD, and via
popular downloadable formats such as MP3.
CULT FOLLOWING
Timberwolf's prototype book and series, "A Small Percentage" (ISBN:
0-9653210-0-2) was the worlds first Internet Audio-book. It quickly
developed a loyal following and fan-base around the globe. One
listener from Australia commented that the weekly series "kept him on
the edge of his computer." Consistently in the top 5 audio-books on
Yahoo! Broadcast, the title remains one of the all-time
most-listened-to Internet audio books in history.
